NewSong Announces the Performing Songwriter Series @ Bryant Park (New York City).

Wednesday, May 7. New York City. Today marks the start of a weekly performing songwrtier series that NewSong is producing in partnership with the Bryant Park Corporation. The series kicks off with a performance and workshop by NewSong Recordings most recently signed artist, Montreal-based Chris Velan. The series takes place each Wednesday in Bryant Park. Music starts at 5:00 PM, followed by a workshop and Q&A session hosted by NewSong Director Gar Ragland. For more information, click here.

Mountain Stage NewSong Contest Opens for Entries on May 15.

NewSong Artists to perform at this summer's Contemporary American Theater Festival

In its ongoing efforts to create high profile performance opportunities for talented members of the NewSong music community, NewSong has recently partnered with the Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) to produce four performance showcases during this summer's festival. CATF takes place in beautiful, hip and historic Shepherdstown, WV, home of former Mountain Stage NewSong Festivals and the NewSong Academy. For more information, click here.
